Kanawha Valley Civil War Roundtable
Founded in 1983 by respected local historian, the late Noble K. Wyatt, the Kanawha Valley Civil War Roundtable promotes the study of Civil War history in West Virginia and its lasting effects on society and promotes the preservation of the state's Civil War sites and artifacts for future generations. Our membership is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Civil War, its place in American history, and West Virginia's unique role in the Civil War era.
Meetings are generally held on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May at 7:00 p.m. at the South Charleston Public Library, 312 4th Avenue in South Charleston, WV. All meetings are free and open to the public. A newsletter is published monthly September through May. To receive the newsletter, an annual suggested donation of $20 is requested to cover costs of printing and mailing, as well as to support Roundtable programs.
