7th West Virginia Cavalry Descendants Reunion
Droop Mountain Battlefield, October 14, 2006

In conjunction with the Battle of Droop Mountain Reenactment events, a reunion of 7th West Virginia Cavalry descendants was held at the battlefield on Saturday, October 14, 2006.

Events included:
Presentation of the history of the 7th by Steve Cunningham
Tour of the Droop Mountain Battlefield by author/historian Terry Lowry and park ranger Mike Smith
A presentation by Bill Kiser, who shared information on his ancestor, George H. Siders, who was wounded at Droop.
